georgy salakhutdinovfoodshare clubGeorgy Salakhutdinov is a high school student specialized in maths and computer science based in Moscow, Russia, and is an advocate for the intersectionality of innovation and entrepreneurship in areas such as climate change and food security. Georgy is a founder of FoodShare Club, a non-profit organisation operating a food sharing platform which connects those who are ready to share excess food and those who need it.
Based on comprehensive customer research Georgy identified that a significant number of people are welcoming the idea of food sharing. However they don't have a convenient and secure tool for doing it. FoodShare Club is a Telegram based chat bot which can easily browse food offerings (free or paid) available in a specific location or even residential building. Everyone who needs food can identify a relevant food handler nearby. The match of food handler and customer is based on geolocation within a defined distance. He believes that a well designed and user friendly food sharing platform can make a global difference. FoodShare Club is built to operate in any country - the only need is to add appropriate languages. Lots of work is still ahead but Georgy keeps following his dream - improving people's life by reducing the food inequality. Georgy shares a point of view that each person is an entire world. This means he can change the world by changing the life of at least one person |
